Tribunes move up a spot at nationals

CHATUAQUA, New York - Monroe Community College moved up a spot in the team standings after the second round of the 2016 NJCAA Division III national tournament at Chautauqua Golf Club on Wednesday.

The Tribunes shot a team score of 317 (for a two-day total of 641) to jump up to sixth place at the halfway point of the tournament.

Joshua DeSain and Michael Long paced MCC with 78s on a windy, cool day.  Connor Goss fired an 80 and Tyler Hockenberger rounded out the scoring with an 81.

Jackson Mordaunt's 85 was discarded.

Vincennes University continues to lead the team standings with a two-day total of 605. Minnesota State is second at 618. 

Mohawk Valley's Dante Migliore is the individual leader with a two-round total of 2-over-par (146).
