ROCHESTER - The MCC men's lacrosse team kicked off the 2016 season in style Saturday, defeating SUNY Delhi 26-5 on DiMarco Field.

Eleven different players found the back of the cage for the Tribunes (1-0). Leading the way was Jeremy Powers, who established a career-high with six goals while also dishing out an assist.

Monroe jumped out to a 13-2 lead at the half. Any chance for a Bronco comeback was quickly dashed in the third quarter, as the Tribunes put up 10 more goals to open a commanding lead.

Matt McDowell finished with three goals and three assists, while Kasey Olsen and David Lehman tallied three goals and two assists apiece for MCC.

Brady Fahy, Jake Moss, Nick Wilder, and Curtis Raymond all added two goals each. Matthew Lee, Ethan Marchitell, and Ryan Nicholson scored once apiece.
