Balanced attack leads MCC men past Roberts Wesleyan

ROCHESTER - Gabriel Knaut won two events, and six other Tribune men won an individual event apiece as the Monroe swimming and diving team sailed past Roberts Wesleyan 119-39 in a non-league meet Wednesday night.

Knaut paced the balanced effort with wins in the 100 (47.59) and 200 (1:50.44) freestyles. Cameron Wagner helped kick off the meet with a win in the 1650 (18:33.60), while Aaron Berghash took first in the 50 free (23.71).

Other individual winners included Ben Metzger in the 200 IM (2:07.95), Greg Sanders in the 100 fly (57.63), Logan Stolberg in the 500 free (5:21.50), and Loren Searle in 3-meter diving (328.80).

The 400 medley relay team of Noah Burr, Sanders, Patrick Marsh, and Berghash placed first in a time of 3:55.49.
