NORTH EAST, Pennsylvania - The red-hot MCC women's basketball team set season marks for points in a game and margin of victory in a 132-29 rout of host Mercyhurst North East Wednesday evening.

The Tribunes shot 53 percent from the floor (50-for-94) while holding the Saints to 20 percent. Monroe also forced 37 turnovers, which they turned into an incredible 72 points.

MCC remains unbeaten in Western New York Athletic Conference play (6-0) and is now 18-3 overall. The Tribunes host second-place Niagara County CC at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Erica Abitante nailed four of MCC's 15 3-pointers and had a game-high 18 points to lead the Tribunes. Lanay Rodney and Milan Hatcher chipped in with 16 apiece and Sierra Green added 15.

The Tribunes held a 55-28 edge on the glass and had a dominating 42-2 advantage in second-chance points. Ellease Billings-Harrison led MCC with 10 rebounds.

Torrie Cash and Taliyah Brisco contributed 10 points apiece. Shalix Hines added nine points, four assists, and five steals.
