Tribs finish fifth at nationals
MCC wraps up the 2015 season.
CHAUTAUQUA, New York - The MCC golf team wrapped another successful season with a fifth-place finish at the 2015 NJCAA Division III national tournament at Chautauqua Golf Club.
The Tribunes shot a 318 on Friday to finish fifth with an overall score of 1,248. Minnesota State put up a 303 to leapfrog Monroe into fourth.
Cincinnati State won the title with a four-day total of 1,199. Sandhills CC was second at 1,201.
Kyle Bromley fired a 76 and Curran O'Brien shot a 78 to lead MCC on Friday. Bromley finished tied for eighth and O'Brien tied for 10th individually, earning them each All-American honors.
Jackson Mordaunt carded an 81 and Jake Anderson had an 83 to finish the scoring.
