ROCHESTER, NY - MCC sophomore point guard Karin Robinson (Queens, NY/Mary Louis Academy) led a balanced attack as the Lady Tribunes defeated Alfred State 93-51 Saturday evening.
The win was the 12th in a row for Monroe, which improved to 13-4 on the season.
Robinson finished with a game-high 23 points and also added nine rebounds, six assists, and six steals. She led a defensive effort that forced 24 Pioneer turnovers.
Donisha Watson (Bronx, NY/Mount Vernon) had another double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds along with five blocks. Dionne Coe (Brooklyn, NY/Murry Bergtraum) also scored 12 and Tyese Purvis (Queens, NY/Francis Lewis) chipped in with 11.
MCC outrebounded Alfred 59-36 on the night.
