Zach Stevenson Named Monroe CC Director of Athletics
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Monroe Community College has named Zach Stevenson as the college’s sixth Director of Athletics, bringing a dynamic leader with a strong background in athletic administration, program development, and student-athlete success to lead the Tribunes.
Stevenson officially began his role in March 2026 and will oversee MCC’s intercollegiate athletic programs, facilities, and student-athlete development initiatives.
Before arriving at MCC, Stevenson served as Athletic Director at Colorado Northwestern Community College, where he oversaw all aspects of the college’s intercollegiate athletics programs. During his tenure, he led numerous initiatives focused on program growth, facility improvements, and student-athlete development while working closely with campus leadership and the surrounding community.
Stevenson played a key role in expanding opportunities for student-athletes, launching new athletic programs, and strengthening the visibility and competitiveness of CNCC Athletics within the Scenic West Athletic Conference and the NJCAA.
“I’m incredibly honored to join Monroe Community College and the Tribune family,” Stevenson said. “MCC has a proud athletic tradition, and I’m excited to work alongside our coaches, staff, and student-athletes to continue building a culture centered on excellence, opportunity, and the student-athlete experience.”
As Director of Athletics, Stevenson will focus on enhancing the student-athlete experience, strengthening campus and community engagement, and supporting the continued success of MCC’s athletic programs both academically and competitively.
“MCC Athletics already has a strong foundation,” Stevenson added. “I’m looking forward to working with our coaches and staff to build on that tradition and continue providing opportunities for our student-athletes to succeed in competition, in the classroom, and in life.”
