ERIE, PA - Seth Hamilton recorded a hat trick and Jesse Little stopped 34 shots in goal to lead the MCC ice hockey team to a 6-2 victory over Mercyhurst University Club Friday evening.
The Tribunes, who are the top seed in next weekend's NJCAA ice hockey national tournament, improved to 19-1-1 with the victory.
Hamilton picked up his second hat trick of the season to pace Monroe. Dominik Gabaj, Martin Matejcek, and Andrew Sanders also scored.
Zach Coughlin chipped in with three assists and Taylor Weilert added two.
