Rochester, NY.- The Monroe Community College men's soccer program continued on their win streak as they swept the Jamestown Jayhawks 5-0 Tuesday afternoon. Monroe led 2-0 at the half and then a rain delay hit with thunder and lightening seven minutes into the second half. The men took the field shortly after and were able to capture three more goals leaving Jamestown scoreless. With the victory, the Tribunes advance to 3-1 on the season.
Game Highlights
Goals were scored by Federico Bushi (3), Brandon Johnson and Connor Morell.
Assits came from Niccolo Moretti (2), Mohamed Souhail, Bacher Zahouri and Isaac Buckley.
Monroe totaled 20 shots on the day and took 11 corner kicks.
The Tribunes will travel to Niagara County Community College this Saturday the 17th for a 2 pm matchup.
