Lady Tribunes advance to East District Semifinals, Outlast Harcum 4-1

ROCHESTER, NY- The Lady Tribunes Women's Soccer Program advanced to the East District Semifinal game after a statement, 4-1 win over the Harcum Bears 

The Monroe Community College Tribunes took on Harcum in the East District Quarterfinal match on Friday evening. 

The first half of regulation opened up with both teams hungry for the win. Thirty minutes into the first half of regulation the Tribunes got their first goal of the game, scored by Supapaun Khounpachamsy with a beautiful strike in the box from Alisia Zagaria evening the score 1-1 at the break. 

Going into the second half of regulation, the tribs came out of the locker room motivated, responding with a goal in the 60th minute. Alisia Zagaria brought the ball into the box and slotted it in the net to make the score 2-1 

Four minutes later Supapaun Khounpachamsy came back for her second goal of the game to make the score 3-1 with some help from Lillian Boesel. 

The Tribunes ended the game with a goal from Ariadna Corral Sanchez in the 80th minute asssited by Lauryn McCracken extending the Tribunes lead to 4-1.

With the win, the Tribunes advance to the East District Semifinals agianst rival Monroe University,  The match will take place at Flowers Park (New Rochelle, NY) on Friday, 10/31 at 1pm.
